 "When you walk through the door of Gathered Roots Acupuncture, you’re immediately immersed in a calm, soft, gentle space and when you meet Marzieh you know the reason why. Meeting Marzieh for the first time as my practitioner, I was immediately drawn to her calmness, her gentle aura and her caring ways as we talked for a short time about the treatment I need. As she gently places the acupuncture needles, she takes her time and quietly lets me know what is going to happen. Before she’s finished placing the needles, I’m usually asleep. Every time I walk through the door, I’m immediately drawn into Marzieh’s quiet place, a place of mental and physical refuge where I spend an hour under the care of this amazing, kind healer. The music and atmosphere relax me as I get ready for my treatment and then I’m in acupuncture dreamland.
I’ve been seeing Marzieh once a week for a month and with each treatment Marzieh learns more about me and what my body needs. Each treatment erases more of the unrelentless arthritis and fibromyalgia pain I was living with before my first session. I’m looking forward to an ongoing relationship with his wonderful healer, a woman whose extensive medical background has brought her to us, her Gathered Roots Patients.
